It is with deep sadness that a radio legend, a remarkable man and extreme talent, recently passed. Our hearts are heavy, as another great broadcaster is now in the great beyond. Richard Ward Fatherley left a loving family, and thousands of friends who knew him. We were blessed with hearing his booming voice on the Storz stations, the company that he loved, and WABC in New York...and others...Rest in peace old friend, we miss you. You live in our hearts always in a hall of fame that will honor you forever.
Goodbye, old friend...we will see you again on that great distant shore...thank you for the gift of your friendship...rest in peace.
Richard Ward Fatherley was production director and program director of some of America's legendary radio stations. He worked at Miami's WFUN Kansas City's WHN and New York's WABC as well as The Storz Stations as a program director and production director. His voice is without peer...he defines the big voiced professional.
