John Potts brings more than 45 years behind the microphone to our part of the world, he is an absolute professional! John was my program director at WCAW in Charleston, WPAR in Parkersburg, and WKYG in Parkersburg. We both worked in Altoona, Pennsylvania at different times and I have to say, John is an absolute total pro. He has been my mentor, an exacting "coach" through the years, and I have to say, John is the only program director that could not only teach how to be a real authentic radio personality, he could go on the air, and most days, do it  better that I could.

John defines the term "big voiced baritone". His flawless articulation, and huge booming basso profondo have been on some of America's best radio and television stations selling high ticket luxury cars, vacations, and other national account advertisers. 


We were so proud to have John working with our family of extreme talents. Sadly, John passed from this life in 2022 and we honor him here. My friend, work mate, mentor, extreme talent, does not begin to describe him.
