Mike is a SRVP at Cumulus now, and his consultancy is known world wide, He IS a huge international Star!




Mike McVay and I worked together at WCHS and WBES-FM in Charleston. Mike was our Program Director and I was Operations Manager. Mike went to KTNQ (Q Ten) in Los Angeles and became Assistant program Director and then Program Director at the station. There he worked with Charlie Tuna, machine Gun Kelley, and some other heavyweights.

Mike wrote this letter to Jim Davis, former jock at CKLW and KMPC, then GM/VP of V-100. Nice letter!

I did go to work for V-100 as an account executive, several years later. (The letter had nothing to do with me going back. A different executive hired me in the sales and promotions department, not for an on air position.) *I am still a member in good standing of the extended Capitol Broadcasting Family. Good people, great staff, legendary broadcasters! I was fortunate to have been a jock and an account executive at two of America's GREAT radio stations and an incredible broadcasting company.
