Mike Wingfield, the scariest jock I ever faced off with in Charleston, WV
Mike Wingfield worked at WCAW in 1969 and was opposite me afternoons at WXIT. He really is a special kind of talent. Mike left WCAW and went straight to San Deigo's KCBQ then to the big APE WAPE Jacksonville, Florida, then on to Nashville where he also is a member with me at the Mister Deejay USA Hall of Fame. Mike owned an ad agency in Cleveland, recently sold it and retired a millionnaire. We are still good friends: Here have a listen to Mister Big Pipes!
